The Brief

The personalised gift market is a booming industry and our client having many years experience in the gift market approached Webphoria to help them develop a bespoke ecommerce solution for their new venture.

What We Did

The first step was to come up with the website name and matching domain name - after some research we presented the client with a number of options at which point The Gift Mine was born.

The next steps were to develop a corporate ID for the website - using the Gift and Mine elements of the name and coming up with a logo which would dictate how the rest of the site would look and some of the design characteristics.

The client also asked for a number of bespoke features - one of which was the date reminder service. This module allows users to register on the site to receive reminders of important events two weeks before they occur giving them plenty of time to order that special gift.

In addition to the date reminder the site has the gift personalisation options which was a first for Webphoria but one which works much nicer than some of the competitor websites.

A newsletter and product listing control were the other extra modules required and we even gave them a hand resizing 1100 product images for the site.

The End Result

The site has been a great success despite only being live for a month. We have also recently started an extensive SEO campaign to increase the sites rankings in Google and we hope to see some quick gains in the coming weeks.

The product range is also being constantly updating and we have established procedures to bulk upload hundreds of products in one go saving The Gift Mine time in getting products live on the website.

Testimonial

"We approached a lot of design agencies when looking for someone to help with our site but many of them either couldnt handle the bespoke features of the site or were just too expensive. Webphoria were the only company that assured us that it was all possible at a price we could afford."

Thanks again.
